Though Midnight Yet

This little ditty was written whilst 🙂 thinking of physical pain and also about the grief of losing someone.  Trying to capture joy  and God’s promise in the midst of pain, versus needing things to be great bf I can really celebrate God’s joy.  Inspired with Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”  Want to keep at it, allowing faith to build during the “midnight” moments of life, or life’s darkest hours.

Though Midnight Yet

by Christa M. Hardin

Only after sorrow, drenched,

Is beauty seen, ever intense.

Doth grief lift to sweetest serene,

Awakening joy ‘ere unseen.

Oh, Thoughts that swirl,

In a dark silhouette!

Find dreams unfurled,

Though midnight, yet.
